It's been a crazy and rocky year and I'm managing to stay busy in the studio. I have been focusing on the positive and using my art to spread joy into the lives of all who need it. Lately, I have been thinking about sharing more of my process to world. I am a private person by nature, but as an artist I have learned that in order for others to see your work, you have to step out of your comfort zone and share. That brings me to this post. As you know, I am a painter and mixed media artist and one of my favorite materials to use is resin.

Resin is an amazing product that keeps my work protected and gives it that "Pop". My go to resin is Art Resin. I purchase my art resin at local art stores like Blick and online at Check out my tutorial for step by step instructions.

If you are interested in creating your own piece of original art using resin, check out by workshop tab and follow me for summer workshop dates.

I am so pleased to be apart of this Virtual Paint Party fundraiser. On May 20, at 4 p.m. The Son's Creations Art Studio will be hosting along with FLAG (Front Line Appreciation Group) Metro Detroit an amazing group serving the Metro Detroit area Front Line Workers. We are hoping to raise enough money to provide meals to our Front Line Hospital workers while supporting our local restaurants. Please support this cause by joining us May 20th or by contributing monetarily.

Please go to to reserve your spot. You will be provided a supply list along with instructions on how to connect online. Supplies may be purchased at most local stores, (Target, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Meijer, JoAnn Fabrics, Michaels) Many of which are open and some are providing curbside pick up.

You can also monetarily donate to this cause at

Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.

We are all dealing with this new way of living and unfortunately it is affecting not only schools, big businesses and small businesses, but our arts culture. Many of you are loyal customers, and I appreciate and love it when I see you each year at the annual art fairs. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, many of our favorite art fairs and exhibits are now postponed or canceled.

Please know that my online store is being restocked with new art work each month. You can still purchase and order original pieces online and have them shipped right to your door. Just know that before any art work is shipped, artwork is thoroughly sanitized and handled with gloves before being placed in its shipping container. We take extra precautions so that none of our customers are in harms way.

Here are the shows that have been postponed or cancelled.
